Conference programme

We are pleased to share the provisional programme for the 59th European Marine Biology Symposium (EMBS), taking place from 7–10 July 2026 in Peniche, Portugal.

 

The programme reflects the diversity and excellence of the marine science community, bringing together sessions across key themes including marine biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, responses to global change, and emerging interdisciplinary approaches in marine research.

This provisional version provides an overview of the structure and sessions of the symposium. A detailed programme, including final presentation schedules, will be shared closer to the event.
